About the Position: Fire Department personnel are required to work 72 hours per week, which includes at least one 24-hour shift and may include weekends and holidays. Shift work is 144 hours bi-weekly. This position is included under the provisions of Special Retirement Coverage (SRC) and may have both a maximum entry age and a mandatory retirement date.
